28 January 2013 - A send-off press conference for the Miss Czech Republic 2013 finalists was held on January 22 at Le Patio Restaurant at Narodni Trida, Prague 2.

Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic Evelyn D. Austria-Garcia was invited to grace the occasion for the 10 finalists of the Miss Czech Republic who will be arriving in the Philippines on January 24.

20 February 2013 - Nineteen (19) students from the Universitat der Bundeswehr Munchen (Federal Armed Forces University in Munich, Germany) visited the Philippine Embassy Chancery in Prague, Czech Republic on February 15.

These students who are enlisted officers of the Federal Armed Forces of Germany visited the Embassy for a mission briefing by Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic Evelyn D. Austria-Garcia on Philippine issues in preparation for the students’ participation in the National Model United Nations Conference 2013 (NMUN 2013) in New York on March 17 to 21.
